Terms & Conditions for Value Added Services (VAS) – Airtime and Mobile Data Top-Up Service
1. What This Service Is
Definition of Airtime and Data: Airtime refers to credit added to a mobile phone account, which can be used for calls, messages, and mobile data. Our top-up service allows you to purchase airtime or mobile data and send it to another person’s mobile phone account.
Personal Use: The service is intended for sending airtime or data to people you know personally. It is not recommended to use the service for sending airtime to unknown individuals or strangers.
Availability: This service is generally 365 days a year through our agents/representative network. However, there may be occasions when the service is unavailable due to system upgrades or outages.
Mobile Operators: This service is limited to specific mobile operators listed on our platform or provided in-store. The list of operators may change without notice.
2. How the Service Works
Requesting a Top-Up: To send airtime or data, you must submit a top-up request through our designated platform or in-store representative. The request will be processed once all required steps have been completed, and you will receive confirmation when the transaction is successful.
Information You Must Provide: To process the top-up, you need to provide the correct mobile number of the recipient and the amount of airtime or data you want to send.
Additional Information: In some cases, we may require further details from you to complete the transaction. If needed, we will notify you promptly.
3. Fees, Charges, and Taxes
Taxes and Adjustments: In certain countries, taxes or other deductions may apply to airtime or data top-ups. Depending on the local rules, taxes may be included in the total amount you pay, or taxes may be deducted from the airtime or data received by the recipient, meaning they may receive less than the amount you sent.
Fees and Charges: Our fees for airtime and data top-ups are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Before you complete any transaction, the final price including fees, taxes, and any adjustments will be shown.
4. Delivery Time
Processing Time: Airtime or data top-ups are typically sent within minutes after a successful payment and transaction confirmation. However, this time frame is not guaranteed for each individual transaction.
Potential Delays: Occasionally, delays may occur due to network congestion, technical issues, or local mobile network outages. If you experience a delay, please check our platform or contact us for assistance.
5. Your Responsibilities
Providing Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing the correct mobile number and the amount of airtime or data to be sent.
Consequences of Incorrect Information: If incorrect details are provided and the top-up is sent to the wrong recipient, we will not be liable. We cannot reverse the top-up once it has been completed.
6. Our Responsibilities
Processing the Top-Up: We are responsible for processing and sending the airtime or data top-up as per the details you provide, provided that all requirements are met.
Mobile Operator's Responsibility: Once the top-up has been sent, the mobile operator is responsible for delivering the mobile services related to the airtime or data.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
No Cancellations: Once we have accepted your request and sent the airtime or data top-up, it cannot be canceled or refunded, unless required by law.
Irrevocable Transaction: After the top-up is successfully credited to the recipient’s mobile phone, it cannot be reversed or refunded.
8. Transaction Limits
Limits on Top-Ups: We may impose limits on the number and total value of airtime or data top-ups you can send in a given time period (e.g., daily, weekly, or monthly). These limits are subject to change based on local laws or mobile operator restrictions. Any applicable limits will be communicated to you before completing the transaction.
9. Liability and Limitations
Limitation of Liability: Our liability for any claim arising from this VAS is limited to the value of the airtime or data purchased. We are not responsible for any delays, technical failures, or service interruptions caused by third-party mobile service providers.
Exclusions: We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential losses, including lost airtime, missed opportunities, or business interruptions.
10. Data Protection and Confidentiality
Handling of Personal Data: We take the protection of your personal data seriously and handle it in accordance with our privacy policy. The mobile number and transaction details provided will only be used for the purpose of processing the top-up transaction.
